The real minimum age
There's no single legal rental age in Florida — each company sets its own. Most major companies rent from 21 (Hertz from 20 at most locations), and all of them charge drivers under 25 a daily young-renter fee. iRent rents to drivers 21 and up too — where we differ is flexibility: we accept debit and international cards, and our young-driver fee is published up front.
