Why refuel before returning
Most rentals (including iRent) use a same-to-same fuel policy — you get the car at a certain level and return it there. Bring it back lower and you're charged for the missing fuel, usually at a marked-up per-gallon rate plus a service fee. Filling up yourself at a normal station is always cheaper.

- Le Jeune Road (NW 42nd Ave) — several stations just south/east of the terminals.
- NW 36th Street — a strip of stations along the north side of the airport.
- Miami Springs / NW South River Drive — convenient if you're returning to iRent's Miami Springs branch at 1111 S Royal Poinciana Blvd.
- Doral (NW 25th St / 87th Ave) — a bit west, handy from the Turnpike/836.
